:I am David Prowler, author and publisher of A Telelgram From Marcel Duchamp. I wrote the book mostly as agift for my friends but the economics of the kind of printing i wanted (die cuts, sewn signaurtures, etc.) made it worthwhile to do some copies for sale. We did an edition of 2000 regular copies and only about 10 of a promised run of 30 handmade ones. I'm pleased that you have a handmade. Rob and Diane are married, graphic artists. She works at the Exploratorium. I am a real estate developer and when I wrote the book I was a member of theSan Francisco Planning COmmission and later Director of the Mayor's Office of Economic Development. Read the book to see what it's about. I have an artists' book in the collection of the
: Frick Fine Arts Library at the Univ. of Pittsburgh
: with the above title. It is a text by David Prowler
: that was designed by Diane Burk and Robert Langenbrunner
: and published by the Readymade Press in
: San Francisco in 1990.
: Can anyone tell me about this work? Who is the
: author? What does the title mean? It was
: published in an edition of 30. Who are the
: artists?
: Thanks in advance for any assistance with this.
