I am writing a novel and need to have the interpretation of Duchamp's choice of the title Tu m' for what I understand to be his last painting. It has been suggested that Tu m' implies "tu m'emmerdes . . .but then what did that word-phrase mean in 1918 when he wrote it? Any help appreciated.
