I know of no other reference to this in Duchamp
literature. For other observations of the plane
and to what the drawing might be related to,
check out Cooper/Caumont "Ephemerides" in
Marcel Duchamp (Cambridge: MIT, 1993 [Venice
Exhibition Catalogue]) n.p.

re: rue Hippolyte - unfortunately I do not know
more than what is repeated in Duchamp-literature,
that the drawings are destroyed or forever lost
layers of paint and wallpaper.
