Dear Ray Anne,
You seem to have a copy of the deluxe edition
of David Prowler's 'A Telegram from Marcel
Duchamp' (San Francisco: The Readymade Press,
1990). Besides the 30 deluxe, there was an
offset run of 1970 issues. Personally, I do
not like the book too much: If you read the text
you'll find out that it is about David wanting
to purchase s.th. by Duchamp but everything
is too expensive except for a telegram by MD
that he comes across (hence the title) and
buys. And then the book goes off freely
associating private details and those of
Duchamp's life, examining the telegram (is this a
work by MD, what is original, no signature, etc)
