Looking through the 'arts & literature' sections of TOUT FAIT, it is clear that many Duchamp inspired artworks are indeed reenactments of one kind or another. It all fits though since even Duchamp reenated his work--the readymade redux, Boite edition, GREEN BOX, etc.

I love reenactment. I write a lot about reenactment. I even owned www.reenactionary.com, but now even that is waiting for a reenactment.

illustrate some 31"x19.5" reenactments of the LARGE GLASS I did in 1993.

There were originally (I think) 12 in all. These three are all I have left. The rest are in Philadelphia, New York, and Boston private collections.

If there really is an audience for this kind of Duchamp stuff, I might just make all of Museumpeace a Duchamp reenactment (of one kind or another), at least for some period of time.
