Schwarz's laboured mish-mash of re-formulated pre-modern 'Freudian' and Jungian psychoanalysis has, in recent years, been over-taken by a more structuralist/post-structuralist approach to the Unconscious (which is less reliant on stringing together supposed historical/biographical detail and then positing this as a 'Cause'). Personally I find Lacan's writing on desire and subjectivity more useful in terms of Duchamp's art in general and The Large Glass, specifically...But his writing is 'difficult' to say the least and I would recommend a 'secondary' source like Zizek or Fink if you want to pursue this line of enquiry.
