Surrealist Enrico Donati Dies at 99
September 11, 2008“Enrico Donati, an Italian-born American painter and sculptor considered by many in the art world to be the last of the Surrealists, died at his home in Manhattan Enrico Donati (b.1909) was an American Surrealist painter and sculptor of Italian birth…he was clearly drawn to Surrealism. This was reinforced by meeting André Breton and coming into contact with Duchamp and the other European Surrealists in New York at the time.” …

Artwork Censored …like Duchamp’s urinal. Yale erred in banning Shvarts’ art
September 11, 2008 "....Unfortunately, the (Yale) University has banned her work from the Senior Project Show, making a first-hand encounter with Shvarts' work impossible. The University has decided not to allow the rest of us make up our own minds.
